We don't collect anything.

Short version. LastTap has no backend, no account system, no analytics, and no tracking. Your events, photos, and counters live on your device. We literally can't see them.

Data we collect

None. LastTap does not have a server. You do not create an account. We do not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, usage data, crash reports, advertising IDs, or anything else.

Data stored on your device

The app stores the events you create (their names, photos, reset dates, and counts) in a local database on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it yourself.

What leaves your device

Unsplash photo searches. When you pick a photo from Unsplash for an event, the event name is sent to Unsplash's API as a search query, and the selected photo is downloaded to your device. Unsplash sees the query and the fact that someone searched. They do not receive any identifier from us. See Unsplash's privacy policy.
Purchases. When you buy the one-time unlock, Apple's StoreKit processes the payment. We see only an entitlement status ("unlocked" or "not unlocked"). We never see your Apple ID, payment method, or purchase details. See Apple's privacy policy.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device using iOS's UserNotifications framework. No notification data is sent to any server.

Third parties

The only third party involved is Unsplash (for photo search) and Apple (for in-app purchases). We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Crashlytics, Facebook SDK, AdMob, or any other analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK.

Children

LastTap is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights

Because we don't collect your data, there is nothing for us to delete, export, or correct. To remove everything the app has stored, delete the app from your device. iOS will erase all local data automatically.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and bump the version number above. Check back if you want to stay current.
