Terms of Use

The plain-English version.

Effective 19 April 2026 · Version 1.0

TL;DR. Install LastTap. Use it. Don't try to break it. We provide it as-is. Apple handles payments and refunds. We can't be held liable for lost data — back up anything important.

1. The agreement

By downloading, installing, or using LastTap (the "App"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App. These terms form a legal agreement between you and Ankit Aglawe (the "Developer", "we", "us").

2. The licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use LastTap on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Standard EULA. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, sublicense, or distribute the App except as allowed by Apple's rules.

3. Purchases

LastTap is free to download. Three events are free forever. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited events and current premium features. The price is displayed at time of purchase and processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not store your payment information.

The unlock is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, no auto-renewal. If we add major new premium features in the future, we may charge separately for them — existing unlocks will continue to work.

4. Refunds

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled exclusively by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request one. We do not have access to your payment or the ability to issue refunds directly.

5. Your data

LastTap stores your data (events, photos, reset history) locally on your device. We do not have a server, do not collect this data, and cannot recover it if you lose it. Back up your device if you care about the data. See our privacy policy for details.

6. Third-party services

LastTap uses Unsplash to provide optional photo backgrounds. Photos are provided by Unsplash photographers under the Unsplash License. By using Unsplash photos, you agree to Unsplash's terms. We attribute photographers in the app where Unsplash's API requires it.

7. Acceptable use

Don't do anything illegal with the App. Don't try to hack, reverse engineer, or abuse it. Don't use it to violate anyone else's rights or harass anyone.

8. As-is, no warranty

LastTap is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the App will be bug-free, always available, fit for any specific purpose, or match any expectation you have. If the App crashes, loses data, fails to send a reminder, or misbehaves in any way, the fix is to email us and we'll do our best — but we can't promise outcomes.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of LastTap. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App (if any).

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations — in that case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll update the version and date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer protection law requires otherwise.

12. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these terms are between you and the Developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
