A small independent team that builds privacy-first iPhone apps. LastTap is one of them. It has no account, no server and no ads.
One job per app
We make small iPhone apps that each do one thing. LastTap counts the days since you last did something, and a tap on the widget puts it back to zero. Your events stay on your iPhone and, if you want, in your own iCloud. We never see them.
How we write the blog
- We install the apps we compare and try them on an iPhone. Where a feature sits behind a paywall we haven't bought, we say what the App Store listing claims and say that's where it comes from.
- Prices come from the App Store in that country, checked on the date shown on each post. They change, so the date matters.
- We update posts when things change: a price, a feature, an app that disappears.
- We make LastTap, and every comparison says so near the top. Weigh what we say about it with that in mind. We list what it can't do before what it can.
