We make LastTap, so read this with that in mind. Facts about the other apps come from their UK App Store listings and their own websites, checked on 28 October 2026. Prices are UK prices and can change. Where a listing doesn't mention a feature, we say so rather than guess.

What a last time tracker app does
It counts up. You name a thing, like Descaled the kettle, and log it when you do it. The app shows how many days it has been. That's it. It's not a to-do list with due dates and it's not a habit tracker with streak goals. People search for it as a "days since" app or a "last time I did" app. Same idea.
The differences are in three places: how much effort a log takes, what you get without paying, and whether two people can use one list.
LastTap
Our app, so weaknesses first. LastTap has no data export, no Siri or Shortcuts actions, and no shared lists between two Apple IDs. It runs on iPhone only, iOS 17 or later. It counts days since; it doesn't plan next-due dates on a calendar.
What it does differently is the widget. Put an event's widget on your Home Screen and tap it when you do the thing. The count goes back to zero without the app opening. Tapped by mistake? Open the event and the Restore pill puts the old count back. You can ask for one reminder after a week, two weeks or a month, and the card and widget turn Overdue until you reset it.

Three events are free forever, with the widgets, reminders, undo and iCloud sync included. One payment of £3.99 adds more events and the alternative app icons. No subscription.
Last Time
Listed on the App Store as Last Time Tracker, by Sarun Wongpatcharapakorn. Its website says it has been on the App Store since 2012. It costs £5.99 up front, and its site says the in-app purchases are tips that add nothing. Paying first is the catch: there's no free tier to try.
The listing covers one-tap logging with a note or a chosen date, grouping into Overdue, This Week and Later based on how often you really do each thing, history with averages, a once-a-day Morning Digest, App Lock with Face ID, iCloud sync, Shortcuts and Siri, and CSV export. It's in 12 languages and was last updated on 18 October 2026.
When The Last Time
By Seiya Mogami, on the App Store since 2018 and in 15 languages. The free tier is like ours on paper, 3 activities, but the listing puts widgets behind Premium, along with unlimited activities, auto-scheduling and no ads. Premium is a monthly or yearly subscription. The listing says single features can also be bought once if you'd rather not subscribe.
What you get free: one-tap logging with photos and notes, icons and colours, a calendar view, frequency insights and reminders. Backups go to iCloud.
Wheneri
Wheneri: Task Tracker, by Ilya Trapachka. It shows two numbers per task: days since you last did it and days until it's due. Widgets and Shortcuts are Pro, per its version notes, and Pro is sold monthly, yearly or lifetime. Data stays on the device, with export and import.
Its listing mentions completions on any date, notes, durations, morning, evening and weekly reminders, a shared calendar view across tasks and templates. It's in 30 languages, the widest of the six.
LastTrack
LastTrack: When Did I Last?, by Tomoya Kawaguchi, is free and in English and Japanese. You tap Done to log, set an "every X days" interval, and it shows status like Due today or Overdue by 3 days. It has streaks, history with notes, push reminders and an app icon badge for due items.
The reason it's here: its version notes add a shared list for family and friends. None of the others list that.
Last Time Tracker (Zaffles)
Not the same app as Last Time above, despite the name. Last Time Tracker by Zaffles is free and English only. You tap Done and the counter resets. You can set a target rhythm, and trackers sort into Due Soon, Overdue and Recent. It shows average interval and an on-time streak, lets you delete accidental entries, and has widgets for one tracker, an up-next list or overdue items. No account, no analytics, no ads.

Questions people ask
What is the best last time tracker app for iPhone?
It depends on how you log. If you want to tap a Home Screen widget and never open the app, LastTap. If you want CSV export and Siri, Last Time (£5.99 once). If two people share a list, LastTrack.
Is there a free days since app with widgets?
Yes. LastTap includes its tap-to-reset widgets in the free tier of three events, and Last Time Tracker by Zaffles is free with widgets. When The Last Time and Wheneri put widgets behind a paid tier.
Can I export my history from LastTap?
No, not today. If export matters, Last Time has CSV export and Wheneri has export and import.
Which last time tracker lets two people share a list?
LastTrack lists shared lists with family and friends. LastTap syncs through one iCloud account, so it has no shared lists between two Apple IDs.
